Wedding Photography FAQ

What’s ‘Doerman’ in Doerman Photography?
Our last name

How many photographers do you work with?
Brit and Michael photograph every wedding.

What primary photographic style do you identify with?
Wedding days are long and our style adapts to changing events. When we need your attention, we focus on contemporary portraiture; relaxed, modern, and capturing your personality. Otherwise, we switch into photo-journalistic mode where we focus on moments and emotion.

How much time should I schedule for photographs?
We recommend at the very least an hour for images of bridal party and bride & groom. The more time you schedule, the more images of yourselves alone that you’ll receive. It’s ideal to schedule photographs of Bride & Groom just before sunset. However, if you are unable to commit to that length of time, a bridal session can supplement timing-issues.

Be sure to check out our guide to making the most of your wedding photography. It includes tips that focus on how to schedule your day to reduce any timing issues and to reduce any stress that may arise.
